We Put The Taste In Your Fund Raising
Where can you experience an abundance of fresh, healthy food, while raising money for your favorite non-profit organization? At Wasabi Japanese Steak and Sushi Non-profit groups can hold a fund raiser event on a designated night and 15% of your event sales will be donated to your organization. It’s a fun way to nourish your community and your body too!
Here's How It Works...
- Contact Wasabi’s restaurant management to determine a fund raiser date. Events should be set up 30 to 45 days in advance and held Monday through Thursday.
- Complete this fund raiser agreement and return it to the manager for processing. Be sure to fill it out completely and sign where designated.
- Wasabi management will create a master flyer invitation for your use. It will be sent to the restaurant for you to pick up. We can even print copies for you at $20 per 200 copies.
- The fun now begins! Hand out as many flyers as possible to family, friends, co-workers, etc, talk it up! It’s an opportunity to give back to the community and treat yourself to a great meal at the same time!
- On the evening of the event, after your group members present their flyers to our server, they can enjoy sushi and great Japanese cuisine.
- Within 4-6 weeks, you will receive your fund raiser check generated from your redeemed flyers!
Is There A Catch?
Not if everyone follows the rules! We want to do our part to provide your organization not only with a delicious and wholesome meal, but 15% of your event sales. We hope you’ll do your part too:
- Please do not distribute flyers in the restaurant, parking lot, or vicinity.
- Coupons or discounts will not be honored in conjunction with a fund raiser event.
Failure to comply will result in a voided contract.
Fund Raiser Success Tips?
Getting together with your group is always fun, and the success of your fund raising efforts relies on your ability to promote the event. Here are some guidelines that successful fund raiser organizers have given us to share:
- Copy your flyer on brightly colored paper for a festive look.
- Announce the event at your group’s next meeting and pass out the flyers.
- Promote the event on yo9ur marquee or hang a banner outside your building.
- Advertise by inserting a copy of the flyer into your group’s newsletter.
- Post an eye-catching sign on your bulletin board. Keep a supply of flyers nearby.
- Invite a special person (i.e. clergymen or school principal) to be the greeter on event night.
- Send a reminder email 48 hours before the event (and don’t forget to tell them to bring their flyer!).
Who Qualifies?
Charities, churches, schools, swim teams, scout troops, and other organizations considered to be non-profits by the IRS may apply for a fund raiser event.
We also welcome fund raiser requests from community recreational clubs that do not have non-profit status. This request must provide supporting W-9 tax ID information. See the Fund Raiser Agreement form for details.
Wasabi reserves the right of approval for any request submitted for a fund raiser event.
Fund Raiser Agreement
The Fund Raiser Agreement form must be completed in order to produce and schedule your event. Print in blue or black ink ONLY. Our Fund Raiser Program is a charitable donation program, not a discount. Wasabi reserves the right to select the organizations which you choose to support. Please take the completed form to the manager of Wasabi. Your master flyer will be ready for you to pick up within 2-3 weeks. |
